VocalNeal
I've had Prevnar 13 at the Red Cross in Bangkok but don't relish going all the way back there just for one jab. Anti vaxxers need not apply Edited July 13, 2022 by VocalNeal
internationalism
I had in my local governmental hospital, 1050b, so cheaper than the red cross. I had it together with flu and hep A. You can combine with any others. the 23 suppose to be 1 year after 13. Also there is the red cross branch in all larger towns, but first the nearest hospital Edited July 13, 2022 by internationalism
Sheryl
Most hospitals can do this. Where exactly in Northern Thailand?
VocalNeal
The idyllic city of Phayao. But it is terrible here. Don't tell anyone. Someone just got Prevnar 13 at HCMC in Chiang Mai but they only list Prevnar 13. I haven't been to local govt. hospital yet to ask. Or local health dept who organized Covic Vaccs. internationalism
even if they don't list Pneumovax 23, they still might have them. Or they will order one for you. Pre-pay, so it would motivate them to order. In the meantime you can get flu, some other ones - they all will boost your immune system for sometimes Edited July 14, 2022 by internationalism
Sheryl
the way I read the HCMC site, they have both 13 and 23 (as one would expect.) So does this clinic: https://www.cmmediclinic.com/pneumococcal-vaccine.html You an also try at the main provincial hospital in Phayao but no guarantees
VocalNeal
^ weird. That is different from the list I found. Yes. I'll give the local hospital a go. I can even walk there.
