On BBC TV, the Premier League when asked whether it had concerns about Thaksin's assets being frozen and him being ordered to return said, " It's only the actions of a military junta (sic)." So that's alright then!

On hearing that Sven etc etc was to be appointed as manager, the chairman of the on-line fan club said, "He's damaged goods (Sven that is!). If they appoint him, there will be riots!"

Hmm, this Thaksin is certainly a riot, they follow him wherever he goes!! :o

We (foreigners) are not allowed to own one single blade of grass in Thailand, but this piece of work can own an entire football club?!!

Mind boggling!! :o

You can own as much grass as you want. You can own an entire condo worth. You just cannot own land on which to grow grass except under certain special circumstances.

Don't like it? Become a Thai citizen.

AFAIK the english fans love having foreigners own their sports teams, being that the ones not owned by foreigners don't tend to win :D
