My recommendation would be to head to Central Plaza, get your bearings and go from there. There are a few bars within walking distance and a market too, however the market is best at night. Central Plaza has food courts on the lowest level and a mix of very good restaurants on level 4. There are also a good selection of restaurants in the local area. Hope that helps. Smallish Bar street up a block or so … Great breakfast on the Corner… do a little bit of walking around you’ll probably find something to fit ..
