Vietnamese ‘beaten to death’ outside Bavet casino

A foreign man was beaten to death by a mob wielding sticks outside a Bavet casino yesterday morning The incident happened at 3:15 AM on August 26, 2022 in front of Casino 67 in Bavet Kandal Village, Bavet Sangkat, Bavet City. According to the police, the dead man was named Duong Minteang, a 34-year-old Vietnamese man who worked as a chef. Security images show the brutal attack: The murderers have been identified as also being Vietnamese, but fled immediately after the incident

 

According to witnesses, before the incident, the victim went to a pawn shop to get money to gamble in the casino. Sources said that later, a group of about 4 to 5 suspects walked in to talk to the victims. Then, they group suddenly attacked the victim, fatally injuring him and then fleeing. After the incident, the people reported to the local police to intervene
