DEPUTY PRIME Minister-cum-Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Interior Minister Anupong Paochinda yesterday (August 31) paid a surprise visit to the Ministry of Defence headquarters only to chit chat with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha who is currently stopped by court from performing as head of government.

The trio held the informal talk among themselves and lunched together at the Ministry of Defence headquarters where Prayut has visited in his concurrent capacity as defence minister whilst being suspended at the order of the Constitutional Court from performing his prime-ministerial duties pending a court ruling on his eight-year tenure maximumly provided by law.

Prayut has not visited Government House to join others in weekly cabinet meetings and only attended them in video conference mode since he was ordered by court last week to stop performing as head of government.

All the pleasure appears to be going on under the table ????

Well, second fiddle Prayut does'nt look near as happy as the Minister for Weed! Maybe he should try some!

As he is still Defence Minister, why can’t he attend Cabinet meetings presided over by Prawit?

Since the electoral process and make up of Parliament is so distorted, does anyone think this will make any difference?

With no pressing business other than an imminent invasion from Laos, Prayuth is bored out of his skull enough to welcome meaningful conversations from the stoner Anutin.

Because he has lost face big time and can't face the people now above him!

Maybe they went to take the <deleted>?

Maybe they went to tell him suspended is SUSPENDED and the acting PM is now also the Defense Minister.....

It's possible that PM Prawit can unilaterally transfer Prayut to the Office of the PM ( in effect inactive duty - a "goffer" for the PM) and make a new appointment to Minister of Defense (I suggest a retired general from the King's Guard - Prayut was from the Queen's Guard).

That pic is taken inside the Ministry of Defence headquarters ????

Looks more like Prayut own house

Is that the toad on the big screen?

Why is his desk constantly monitored?

What a charade.  All put on to try and show Prayuth and cronies are not above ' the law ' Whereas in reality , everyone knows they are.

The envelopes keep coming , and that's what really counts.

What's that massive thing on his desk? A headstone?

It would be a massive slap-down for Cha Cha to have someone else sitting in his chair (even if Sleepy Cat can not fit into it).

Best to stay in the barracks and be guarded by the police.????????

Indeed. They'll figure it out in their usually underhanded and devious manner.

Although, Wiseguys will require the granted approval from The Don

Same as it ever was.
