81 and drive a Mustang GT. Long time drag racer back in the states with a few trophy's to show. I know my limitations, don't drive at night. I avoid driving in the rain, Stang isn't stable and Thai driving is even worse during rain. I've been here "adapting" to Thai drivers, i.e. non-drivers, since 2002. When I finish the modifications to the Stang, get an 11 second ET I'll hang it up. Not too much time left anyway, Agent Orange came calling back in 2023. Rent a PU or SUV once or twice a year for the drive down to Pattaya for offshore fishing. Need the room for ice chest and fishing gear. I won't take the Stang down there. The sights and sounds of Pattaya hold little interest for me as I was there when it was worth being there and loved it. Damn right I was a sexpat. Now happy with Lao life partner and son. If you are thinking it is time to quit driving by all means quit. If you just like to stir the pot, make opinion posts on Aseannow.
