Is There A Low Cost Health Spa On Samui?

Recommended Posts

I think I remember a few years ago, reading about some kind of low cost spa/hotel on Samui, that had an inexpensive weight loss program, possibly colonics, healthy food, etc. Does anyone know if it still exists, or something else similar, anywhere in Thailand?

I hope it's air conditioned... it would be nice to be near a beach, and great to have a pool... Can be anywhere in Thailand...

I'm not looking for LUXURY, just something clean and REASONABLY priced for a one or two week type program.

Any help appreciated!

Although I never go to Spas and such I do know of some info about them for Samui.

There are many health spas on Samui.

Costs vary a lot.

I would think that a lot of the cost in each case is dependent on the type/style of accommodation offered.

I would imagine that The Spa in Lamai may offer lower prices than some other more up-market places

There is a list of some of the other Spas on Samui at Sawadee

The Samui Spa Association has a list of their members on their website

And another big enough list at Koh Samui Spas website

Hope that helps and overloads you mind so you can unload it when you get to the spa :o

The spas in Lamai, both the beach and the village fit your description. They are not the most expensive, however, not cheap either. I have done the 7 day detox fasting programme 3 times there and they are very good. I prefer the village, it's nice and quiet, and when you do start eating again, the food is the best you've ever had!

Good one BigC

Like I had said, "I never go to Spas"

But you are right, basically you just stop eating and do the rubber hose thing.... :o

I guess that really, you could buy a book on fasting and cleansing and get a nice bungalow and do the DIY thing, eh?

For me, I just ensure that I drink my Mucillin and Chlorophyl drink 4 times a week and try to eat low fat low cholesterol food.

Sure as heck, you drink that mucillin stuff you don't need no bum flushing.

cheerz
