Andy On Tour
I actually just wanted to stop by a little old movie theater called Moonlight Cinema today because I found it on Google saying "Permanently Closed". When I got there, I first had to look for where a cinema is supposed to be. Since the street is being completely renewed at this point of all places, I thought at first that the cinema was history and had already been demolished. When I took a closer look, I discovered the old lettering on the gray wall. So I guess I was right after all. So along the road and looking for a way to get behind the fence, which fortunately turned out to be not too difficult. But what I found there was an absolute highlight, even for me as an old hand. I had expected a small cinema and found a complete abandoned village. Besides the cinema, which was really very small, more like a projection room the size of a classroom, there were several restaurants in different conditions, a hall for live concerts in which some of the instruments were still standing, a workshop, a few living huts of various sizes and, and , and... An extra highlight was the jeep, which had the key in it and which actually rattled a bit. If the battery had been even better, it might have managed to start. In any case, my short visit to a cinema turned into around three hours in which I could take my pictures undisturbed - apart from the usual price here in such locations, x mosquito bites (y)
