Pattaya — Angry Pattaya marijuana sellers allegedly attacked a group of three Indian tourists after they reportedly sat on customer seats without paying.

The bizarre violent confrontation took place on Pattaya Walking Street in South Pattaya today, November 14th. At 3 AM, tourist police were called to halt a fight between a group of Thai marijuana sellers and a group of three Indian tourists, which broke out amidst several innocent pedestrians this morning.

In the end, police officers were successfully able to stop the fight. Two Indian tourists suffered skull and facial injuries and were rushed to a local hospital. None of the cannabis vendors’ or tourists’ names were revealed to the press.

I have a feeling it's going to be a bad week in the press for anyone in the cannabis business.

I think this is a case of sellers not getting high on their own supply..

Poor Indians, they do seem to drop themselves in it! Sitting down where they please and quick to argue their right! My Bolt driver gave me a lecture on them all the way home recently.

Were they wearing gold chains and were they being pursued by thieving ladyboys?

No free seats @ 3am.

good. it's difficult to cross Beach Road as a pedestrian because of bad-mannered drivers who think it's a race track. hopefully the Chinese tour buses return soon and turn it back into a car park.

"The vendor added his friend and co-worker asked for 90,000 baht from the Indian tourists in compensation"

And there you have the real problem, the usual rip off merchants at it.

Was it another case of 3 versus 30?

You've assessed the damage and determined a proper amount?

I've seen "them" more than once on Bangla Patong - buy a coke to share in the Seven and then sit at a bar and start trying to grope the girls.

The more one-sided the quicker the lesson given and the problem resolved.

In my home town a few months ago there was a paraletically drunk guy trying to break into a bank with his bare hands - it took a dozen cops and three police vehicles to sort it out.

I always recall being in a WS GGB and this Indian guy coming in and standing there gawping at the flesh on display on stage. He was invited to sit (and of course order) by several staff who he waved off and carried on watching, standing, leering even. Then the manager came and talked to him and he tried to wave him off and got gripped by the seat of his pants and collar and run to the exit. I still see that same manager now and again as he seems to move around WS, and has been employed in many places, and I hold him in high regard!

Welcome to family friendly world renowned Pattaya,

Is it true that the stretch of 2nd Road leading towards Pattaya Tai is now officially called "Little Bombay"?

I watched as three sat down and ordered ONE bottle of water.  Mama-san explained it was against house rules.  Two went outside for a fag and took it in turns to return and sit  in front of the afore mentioned bottle.

Is that an Indian tourist police

Yep. Looks like three plastic chairs and a table = 1,500baht.

Ganja = 10,00baht.

Rip off = 78,500 baht.

The amount of tourists being slapped about in this country is shocking low, and damages Thailand's reputation. But if you had to pick a nationality to slap, it must be Indians. They love to slap their own women and are unashamed of it. I've met meny Thai women who said they preferto avoid them becuase they are rough and often uncouth. He other main reason being hygene as they think its unmanly to wear deoderant. It's okay to slap tourists about...well sometimes. Alhough as an afterthought maybe downgrade it to light beatings as they did give us the best food in the world.
