A man was arrested Tuesday after robbing VND700 million (US$28,100) from a Vietinbank branch in northern Vietnam at gunpoint the previous afternoon. Pham Duc Anh, 33, was arrested at around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, more than 13 hours after he robbed the bank in Song Cong Town, Thai Nguyen Province. Police have recovered more than half of the money.
