Pattaya — Pattaya residents and tourists urge relevant authorities to repair the dilapidated boardwalk on South Pattaya Beach.

The boardwalk is located near the King Rama IX Sailing Club Monument in Banglamung, Chonburi.

 

The boardwalk is currently deteriorating as its foundation is wobbly and sinking into the sand, and many planks are missing or have holes in them, according to The Pattaya News reporters.

I think the contractor used the finest balsa wood available, however lack of maintenance has also had a role to play !! ????

Adds to the charm.

Looks comparable to many of the sidewalks throughout most of the main areas of major Thailand cities.

Broken boardwalks a metaphor for broken hearts and relationships in Pattaya.  Fix them so love can bloom again.
