A 66-year-old man had one finger amputated when he rear-ended a sedan on Thursday, December 8th.

 

The victim, Sun Phoprasarn, was aided by Sawang Boriboon emergency responders at 7:30 AM. The rescuers found him beside his black and blue Yamaha Nouvo motorbike on Chaiyaphonwithi Road in Pattaya’s Khao Mai Kaew subdistrict, Banglamung district, Chonburi.

 

Sun’s pinky finger on his left hand was cut off, according to rescuers. He was rushed to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment.

I hope it wasn't the pinky finger from his dominant hand - retraining his other hand to relieve nasal congestion may be an issue.

 

On the other hand, time will be saved at nail cutting time.

"Sun’s pinky finger on his left hand was cut off"..... thank goodness it wasn't his middle finger. No one can do without two of those.

I heard he was a staunch, right hand man, so should be ok.

 

I have also been led to believe that many people are often prone to lose a thumb, or a finger or two,  rear ending a pick-up.

Lucky it was only his finger

Disappointing thread. I thought it was going to be that he gave the finger salute to the unfortunate driver he ran into and had it chopped off in retaliation.
