Kanokwan Might Be Deposed, Banned From Politics In Land Grab Case

DEPUTY EDUCATION Minister Kanokwan Wilawan who is currently suspended from performing her ministerial duties might possibly be deprived of her cabinet seat and banned from politics due to a national park encroachment case filed against her.

 

The National Anti-Corruption Commission today (Dec.9) petitioned the Supreme Court to consider deposing Kanokwan of the seat of deputy education minister and prohibiting her from contesting elections or casting electoral votes at any level of politics for a maximum of 10 years due to her possession of a parcel of land which allegedly encroaches upon Khao Yai national park in Nern Hom subdistrict of Prachinburi, the constituency which she used to represent as MP.

Why not arrest her for theft and deception. On second thoughts the entire political system would collapse if other politicians were subject to arrest for theft and deception.

1) would anybody notice and

2) would anybody care?

It seems that the power elite and the abiding media have a long history of making extreme and exaggerated cases regarding mostly trivial activities, all the while ignoring or covering up their own corrupted treachery - 

 

As has been the accepted cycle and practice forever.
