Here is what's included in $1.85bn in military aid

The US defence department has released some details of what $1.85bn (£1.53bn) in military aid for Ukraine - announced today by the Biden administration - will pay for.

The arms package includes a wide range of equipment including:

• One Patriot air defense battery and munitiions
• 30 mortar systems
• Six armoured utility trucks
• High-speed anti-radiation missiles
• 500 artillery rounds

I feel like I’m seeing something or perhaps someone of major historical significance I hope he survives and leads Ukraine towards a just and generous democracy im also proud that we and many other nations are helping the Ukrainians defend themselves sava Ukrainian!

Zelensky: "The light in our faith will not be put out" at Christmas

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukrainians will celebrate Christmas this year, despite the atrocities of the war, telling Congress: "Even if there is no electricity the light in our faith will not be put out."

Just like the "brave American soldiers which held their lines" and fought against Hitler's Nazi Germany in 1944, Ukrainian soldiers "are doing the same to Putin's forces this Christmas," Zelensky said to applause.

"If they attack us with Iranian drones, and our people will have to go to bomb shelters on Christmas Eve, Ukrainians will still sit down at the holiday table and cheer up each other," he added.

Just watched his speech before Congress wow to see both sides of the isle giving standing ovations time after time renews my faith in my government and of the victory of the Ukrainian nation sava Ukraine!

Shouldn't you be trolling under some bridge?  The "lost lives" and "suffering" would stop immediately if Russia got the heck out of Ukraine.
