How to sell 2nd hand stuff in Thailand?

Featured Replies

Why isn't there a buy/sell sub for this web site? Other than that, maybe ebay, has anyone had any luck limited their sales to Thailand?

Facebook marketplace is the best place, easy to sell

No luck in selling, but BUYING on Facebook marketplace has been 99% positive.   It's nice that Thais (IMO once you recognize a legit seller) really keep used stuff in pristine condition.   I've been buying stuff there for about 5 years, only one item DOA and was offered a refund.   I would try to sell there first.

you will get the jokers who want a 10,000 item for 3000....but that's everywhere.

my suggestion.

We used to have a "classified" section but it wasnt used that much. We still have an area for cars and motorbikes etc.

There are plans to reintroduce something

but its a "work in progress" at this time. ????

I have sold something on https://www.bahtsold.com/ and it does have different areas, so there could be buyers near you.

One thing I really miss from the UK is the Sunday morning car boot sales.  There's nothing like it here.

Yes might be worth trying to get one going here.

Yes, back when boot sales had 'real' boot sale sellers rather than market stalls !

Another vote for FB marketplace

I have sold quite a few s/h items on Bahtsold. Seems about the only site for selling s/h goods.

You can sell or buy second hand goods, vehicles or properties on Kaidee or if it's a property on Baanfinder as a couple of examples.

Yes there is.  You just don't know where to look.

I use to like viewing for sale things on Facebook, but I can no longer do it because I have been blocked by them because of things I know nothing about.  Shame.  I go to search and find better sales info now.

Misspelled word.

Facebook has been by far the best for me..

If you are on Eaten Seaboard there are 2 Auction Rooms run by Foreigners.

My favourite market used to be the Ninja Market on Fridays - https://goo.gl/maps/HAKdCLjKPvhtUMAR9

It used to be huge but haven'y been there for out 4 years

On Facebook marketplace i must of had 50 people message me about buying my Honda Click a couple weeks ago, easy to sell on there

The fb groups seem to work. I got a motorbike off fb marketplace, great deal. Bahtsold is a graveyard. Seen the same adverts on there for years. Ventured to a few thrift type stores, not exactly thrifty pricing though. I have loads of stuff we do not use. I will try and sell on facebook. Need the space.
