CNN —

As a year dominated by Russia’s war on Ukraine draws to a close, Vladimir Putin has made a point of suggesting he is open to peace talks despite evidence to the contrary, with comments that have been roundly dismissed by Kyiv and the West as a ruse at a time when the prospect of negotiations in the near future appears extremely remote.

Days after saying he wanted an end to his war, the Russian President on Sunday repeated his claim that he was ready to “negotiate with everyone involved in this process about acceptable solutions,” the state news agency TASS reported.

Well no surprise there as long as Putin continues his war of conquest.I’m sure the Ukrainians will be more willing once Russia is evicted from Ukraine and then it will be about reparations and the turning over of war criminals sava Ukraine!!!

Can’t trust Putin or anything Russian.

don’t kid yourself, the vast majority of the people are for the genocide, not against it!

as the new mobilization starts I can just imagine the thoughts of the Russians sitting on the beach in Thailand, knowing what awaits them upon returning to their country!

Russia will only agree to peace if it can keep what its stolen:

"But Russia has asserted that Ukraine must accept the September annexation of four of its regions—Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia—following sham referendums called by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

There can be no peace plan "that does not take into account today's realities regarding Russian territory, with the entry of four regions into Russia," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday."  https://www.newsweek.com/russia-lavrov-conditions-peace-talks-zelensky-1770088
