Bangkok man held over alleged underage porn OnlyFans sales

Featured Replies

Bangkok police have arrested a 32-year-old man accused of luring teenage girls into making pornographic videos and selling the material online through OnlyFans.

Police allege Nanyapat Prueksawangwong earned about 120,000 baht a month from the operation, which they say included material involving a 17-year-old girl.

Arrest at Klong Sam Wa home

Mr Nanyapat was arrested on Sunday 6 September 2026, at his home on Phraya Suren 26 Road in Bangkok's Klong Sam Wa district, said Pol Col Korkiat Wuthijamnong, superintendent of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division.

Officers seized three mobile phones, clothing believed to have appeared in pornographic videos, and a bank book, police said.

Investigators allege he ran an X account named Boom accio, which had about 319,000 followers. The account allegedly published short clips of sexual intercourse to encourage viewers to pay for access to full videos in a closed group on OnlyFans.

Police say he used hotel rooms in the Lat Phrao area as studios for producing the content. According to Pol Col Korkiat, material was posted only on Fridays and the operation had continued for three years.

Police allege that in the middle of last year, Mr Nanyapat uploaded a video showing him having sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old girl.

Trafficking and pornography charges

Police said they found a large number of pornographic videos in his possession, along with evidence of membership-fee collections through OnlyFans.

Mr Nanyapat has been charged with human trafficking for producing and distributing pornographic material involving minors; possessing underage pornographic material for his own and others' sexual interest; forwarding underage pornographic material; separating minors from parents or guardians for sexual abuse; luring underage into misbehaviour; and entering pornographic information into computer systems.

The investigation is continuing.

Onlyfans should be in trouble too. They need to screen for underage.

So the hotels in question will be investigated and shut down for aiding & abetting a crime??

Nah... didn't think so.

Can't watch porn in private on video, but can walk down any Soi... negotiate a rate and go to a short term hotel, that's fine?

Age of consent in Thailand is 15 right so I guess this was just illegal pornography? They don't even arrest sex workers or the girls on only fans though so it doesn't even make sense what the law is.

Problem is that every country has a different age of consent

There might be a distinction in the fact they are under 18 and being moved around for the purposes of sexual exploitation (human trafficking). Their consent doesn't count if below 18 (according to the law).

Rarely is the age of consent 15. It is that only with parental permission. There are issues with authority relationships, ie one partner much older.

The important thresholds are 15 and 18, with additional rules concerning prostitution, pornography, exploitation, and authority relationships.

Let's see how much media coverage this gets, compared to 2 foreigners having a trivial verbal argument, no violence, no property damage..a trivial argument that even the Thai PM got involved in....let's see if he comments on this story.

I wonder if Thailand has an Epstein-style operation and if so who's involved.

No,not when it comes to prostitution.

All 187 member countries of ILO have ratified the Convention on Human Trafficking and Child Labour (C182) which considers any involvement in prostitution for anyone under 18 a crime. Thailand ratified it 25 years ago, and in 2008 passed a national law along those lines.

General Trafficking (Section 52): Convicted offenders face 4 to 10 years in prison and a fine of 80,000 to 200,000 Baht. If the victim is a child aged 15 to 18, penalties increase to 6 to 12 years in prison (source: Thailand Law Library). The child is a victim regardless of his or her consent.

Do hotels you stay at know what you do in the room you rent?
Nah... didn't think so.

Threatening to kill someone isn't a trivial argument.

I noticed the types of crimes is often out of towm like samut Praken,,nothaburi.Seems they drug dealers and other criminals feels more safe there. The detencionday is near.

That is not a problem with today´s technology. A website can easily adept to different age in different countries, using simple GEO-targeting technique. Besides that that would only need to implement a KYC check and only let the person in the video upload and show online. Quite easy if one just think a bit.

I 'think' the porn sites wait for someone to make a complaint and then they investigate. It would be a huge job trying to screen each video and make assesments one by one. Not just for underage sex portrayed, but other complaints like revenge porn and actresses who appeared drugged or violence. The police probably tip them to lots of stuf which they take down. A few years ago, there was a Thai female influencer who claims she was sexually assaulted and the guy filmed part of it on his phone (a Move Forward type - though she was independent and is well known as an activist). PornHub had been carrying it and she successfully got them to pull it down.

Forget the age of consent. It has no relevance to cases of prostitution or acting in porn by anyone under 18. Prostitution and production of porn are covered in specific laws, with harsh penalties for anyone who pays for sexual services with anyone under 18 years of age.

Well how would the hotels know what is going on in a room.

Using your logic, if someone was murdered in a hotel room, the hotel would be charged for murder.

There’s nothing in the report to say that the hotels had prior knowledge of the activity that would take place in the rooms.

In the term short-term-hotels which are very common... of course they know whats going on.

A cheap hotel would be fairly easy to do. There are thousands of them. Security is usually very lax. So anyone can walk in and head to the guest floors. Provided they are not rolling in a bunch of camera gear and lighting kits - but instead keeping it sort of light and hidden - probably easy to do without hotel knowing.

Were they short term hotels? The article doesn’t say that.

You’re stretching on two counts. Assuming they were short term hotels and assuming they knew what was going on.

He had three years of “production”behind him, so a semi permanent operation, rather than a quick two hours film and flee.

Not to say it isn’t possible that a hotel could guess what was going on, if he had a fairly sophisticated film studio set up in a bedroom with lighting, cameras, shades etc. but it isn’t reported that he had that level of equipment and I suspect it would be a tough ask to prove in court that a hotel was complicit by aiding and abetting.

So to answer your original question, IMHO no, the hotels won’t be prosecuted and personally I can fully understand why.

Only Fans as the medium that carried his content should, IMHO, shoulder some blame, but social media doesn’t seem to be held to much of a legal standard from what I can see. But what do I know, I’m a dinosaur.

The movie "creators" who upload the videos are age verified. But I doubt that every "model" in a video can be verified as well. That might be difficult in reality.
