There was a jam as the collision took up the whole road blocking traffic.

Three men were in one vehicle, the other had two women and a man.

Jintana, 22, was one of the women - she was on her way to hospital when she was due to give birth today.

She had an injury to her leg.

Among the injured were her mother and husband, 24.

All six injured were taken to hospital.

A witness reported hearing the sound of a tire bursting before the collision.
