The Phuket City Police were notified of the accident on Monday morning (December 26th) on the main Thep Kasattri Road southbound near the Bang Khu Underpass. Jerno
Brakes must work differently in Thailand, having an epidemic of failures week after week.

Popular Post Crossy
The power pole looks to be relatively unscathed, I hope it recovers from any damage quickly. 1

connda
If I ever get in an accident that is my fault in Thailand, I will immediately blame "Brake Failure." It works every time, right! Do what the natives do! Edited December 28, 2022 by connda

roger101
I have driven over a 1,000,000 Kilometers in my life. Various vehicles from 6 wheels (32 tons) to small vans and cars and have never had brake failure. I Know somebody will say you can't drive a 3 axle 6 wheeled vehicle with that weight but we had special dispensation from the home office.
Aussieroaming
There should be a minimum mandatory jail sentence for "brake failure".
Popular Post NE1
I don't think the term Brake Failure means what westerners think it means. Pedal to the floor brakes completely gone. I think here it means " regardless of the speed I was doing / weight carrying / road wet / TikTok / Facebook watching , when I realised I needed to brake it was too late and they didn't stop me before I hit something " 1 1
