Photo obtained by VnExpress Northern Vietnam's lowest temperature on Thursday was 1 degree Celsius as a cold spell is affecting the region for the second day. The temperature was recorded on Mau Son peak, over 1,500 m above sea level in Lang Son Province. Several mountainous regions also saw temperatures drop by 3-4 degrees on Thursday compared to the previous morning. High-altitude town Sa Pa was at 4 degrees.
