3637? Could these numbers be the "bee's knees" for the next lottery?

The unwelcome or auspicious appearance of animals of all kinds can herald a lottery win in Thailand.

Or so the faithful believe.

It's usually snakes and water monitors making a nuisance of themselves but this time it was bees.

They had taken up home in the construction that Manit, 46, had put on the back of his pick-up to convert it into a school delivery vehicle.

He contacted Ban Dung Update in Udon Thani and soon a PPE clad volunteer was collecting the bees into a plastic bag for a release back to nature.

The bees had formed a group in the pick-up but had not yet had time to build a nest.

Manit had worried about his students getting stung.

Now he hopes to sting the National Lottery by playing his vehicle's number - 3637.

He's had some near misses recently but those numbers he believes are the bee's knees.
