arfandy Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I got sinovac sometime in mid of 2021 before leaving Thailand. 2 doses, no booster. I have the vac sertificat issued by accredited hospital in Bkk. However, i do not see Sinovac as part of accredited vacs for the new requirement despite i had given Sinovac in Bangkok (instead of Pfeizzer or Moderna as i requested) Do i need to proceed visiting Thailand as scheduled or better cancel all flight and booked hotel? I do not think getting new vac today will entitle me another jab next week as i need to wait at least 3 months before getting second shot (as per requirement a min 2 shots of vaccines) 1
Popular Post scubascuba3 Posted January 9, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 9, 2023 Breaking news, don't need to be vaccinated. They U-turned 3
zzzzz Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Ye,s but not vaccinated need submit to a test before they will allow you in>
thaitom Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 That is what all the Chinese are vaccinated with, and they are allowed to enter Thailand. So it should be the same for you. 1
KhunBENQ Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 No problem. It's on an official list of accredited vaccines by MOPH. And as mentioned: there might be another U-turn to rewind and get the complete chaos abolished.

Just read about the new policy. Unvaccinated can travel but have to do test after arrival. It's a madhouse ???????? 1 1 1
swm59nj Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Shouldn’t have an issue. Other then you now have no active vaccine in your system. And traveling poses a greater risk 2
rwill Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Sinovac probably moves you to the front of the queue. 1
hotchilli Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Thailand in chaos again, one thing today another tomorrow... blind leading the blind at the top.
Sharp Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Yep order been redacted apparently just waiting for the jungle drums to pass it on 1
Crossy Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Yup, it seems that a government U-turn has occurred. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

It's a madhouse ???????? come on in and bring the virus... once here with the illegal travel assistant (virus) already spreading, then get tested but in the meantime the virus has been spreading around.... perfectly madhouse 1
RichardColeman Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Well, about a billion Chinese are travelling with the same vaccine history !
metisdead Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 A post with a derogatory trolling reference to Thailand has been removed.
arfandy Posted January 10, 2023 Author Posted January 10, 2023 I've just read on The Nation that vac document has been officially scrapped off? Is this for real? It has only been 24-hour ... What about mandatory Health Insurance cover at least $10.000 ?? I dont see anything on it yet and my Health Insurance does no longer cover covid expense.
