90x180cm mattresses don't exist here!

Our youngest son just got a new bunk bed. The size is 90x180cm.

Went to buy a mattress at all the usual places. Mai mee.

Went to massive mattress shops that sell nothing but mattresses. Mai mee.

Went online. Zero hits.

It's as if 90x180cm mattresses simply don't exist here.

Has anyone ever found one online?

TIA.

The place selling the bunkbed didn't have matresses?

Anyway after a quick look it seems like the closest you will get is a 3' mattress.

3ฟุต = กว้าง 91ซม X ยาว 198 ซม

Found this on Lazada but it is pretty thin.

90 x 180 cm

I was in luck when I found the lucky company as luckily they got me out of a problem after making beds not to a Thai standard size .

Good luck to you Malt

This bed stuff is all overly complicated in Thailand.

Even buying doonas and stuff.

Whatever happened to just king queen single double etc?

Why are they selling bedding in feet when the only country hanging on to this old system is America?

English schools more often than not teach USA English rather than proper English.

Really weird.

I should know better by now than trying to understand the logic.

USA English rather than proper English.  Haha.    Who you rather sound like??

Bedding here is a mystery to me.   But hotels seem to have full, queen or king?

As said there are local mattress makers that can make any size.  It used to be Thailand bed size was based on Asian body size so normal mattress was smaller.  You might check this link.  Nothing to do with being American or proper English, other than US size is now standard, thanks to hotel needs.
