ubonjoe
Immigration will transfer your stamps to your new passport. You will need a letter from your embassy requesting it be done.

Only bring old and new pp +letter from embassy? At the airport you will use both passports. Immigration will only stamp you into the country in your new passport. Then you will need to go to immigration to have your stamps transferred. You will not need a letter from your embassy since your new passport was issued while you were out of the country.
