Wonder if the rules will be the same as last year with no water splashing being allowed...........Songkran 2019 was the last year that the water throwing, spraying, and debauchery was in play throughout the country.  Since 2020 it has been pretty much curtailed.  One can only wonder what will occurr this year with Songkran now on the list for consideration as an intangible cultural heritage......water throwing is not part of the original Songkran fesitivities......so one has to understand things might not be allowed until they obtain this UNESCO Heritage listing.

The government did say that water splashing WOULD be allowed at least in Pattaya, but of course it's a long time until April.

We use a large plastic dustbin which normally houses my used beer cans.

Put it in the truck before filling it (I know, I know, but ...).

Pretty sure this has been banned since before covid lockdowns.........you might providing a nice little earner for the local constabulary if you do it.

That article is from 2013!!

Last time we did splashing was in 2019 in Pathum Thani centre, police were in attendance of course directing traffic (and generally being nice guys).

Of course I can't find the recent thread saying that "splashing" would be permitted this year.
