A 36-year-old woman fatally rammed into the back of a stationary truck on a Chonburi bypass yesterday, February 21st.

Chonburi rescuers traveled to assist a female motorist on a bypass in the Nong Mai Daeng sub-district, Mueang district, at 11:30 AM. The victim, Mrs. Sunan Samana, 36, suffered severe facial injuries after crashing her motorbike into a parked truck.

The rescuers provided first aid to the victim but to no avail. Her blue Honda Scoopy I was discovered fallen near the victim.

crashing her motorbike

lady friend sent me a picture of her dad's leg from the hospital, motorbike crash.  Looked like a crocodile bit into it.  A 10 meter one, that is.

Please falangs, sell your bikes ASAP and either car or bus.

Totally useless plastic helmets are a source of danger, not protection.  The government should ban them and Lotus and Big C need to stop selling them,  but of course, they are too dumb and uncaring to do that. Talking about dumb, far too many farangs riding motorbikes without helmets and they at least should know better.

If she rammed into the back of a stationary truck , then she wasn't paying attention to the road she was traveling on .

See so many focused on their phones....

RIP to the woman. Those cheap helmets save you from the RTP fining you from not having a helmet on.

Just saying.

Exactly, 11:30 am in broad daylight she couldn't see a very large stationary vehicle.

It was 11.30 am so broad daylight!  How did she not spot a truck? Are motorbikes even allowed on the by-pass?
