snoop1130 Posted February 24, 2023 Share Posted February 24, 2023 Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) police in coordination with the U.S. Consulate General have arrested a Vietnamese national suspected of using forged documents to acquire a U.S. student visa. The person presented the required documents including an appointment confirmation letter and a Form I-20 on Feb. 14. The U.S. Consulate General confirmed through technical verification that the appointment confirmation letter and the Form I-20 were falsified, and that the original information belonged to previous visa applicants, the consulate said in a statement Thursday.
