Daily News Thai Caption: Guides caught with no ID

Tourist Police in Bangkok in the tourism area of Tha Reua, Tha Chang and Ratchadamri checked up on guides of Chinese tour groups.

Four were found not to have ID and were charged with an offence related to being improperly attired while doing their job.

The four were in fact registered guides but should have had their ID with them according to regulations promulgated in 2008.

They were all female: Wiphawadee, 43, Thanphimon, 44, Kewlee, 30 and 46 year old Siriwimon.

Daily News said that the police were taking the matter of guides with no ID seriously.
