ThaiPauly
I have been referred by my GI doctor here in CM to a motility centre at either Bumrunggrad or Bangkok Hospital in BK Basically the doctors here cannot understand why I have constant diorreah and stomach pain. I have had a CT Scan I Endoscopy I Colonoscopy All negative for anything nasty. Pollips removed and have come back negative, so after 3 different diagnosis they have given up and reffered me to this centre which I have never heard of. I have spent time trying to find out but both have not got back to me. I have asked a doctor from both hospitals to contact me but neither has so far So I thought I would put it out there and ask you guys if you have any experience of what a Motolity Centre does? From Googleing myself it seems that they spend a lot more time than an ordinary GI doctor has to fix you and may prescribe"special medication" But I don't know if this is done as an inpatient or outpatient? Anyone? Thanks.
Sheryl
There are specific tests that can be done (outpatient) if a motility problem is suspected. "Motility Center" is a bit of an exaggeration. It is the regular GI center. With capacity for some motility tests. As with everything else all depends on the skill of the specific doctor you see Cannot do better than this: https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Parit -Mekaroonkamol He has successfully diagnosed a number of TV members when other doctors could not
