Daily News Thai Caption: Looked after by the spirits of the land

Daily News reported that the Nong Kham police in Sriracha, Chonburi, on Thailand's eastern seaboard had posted on Facebook about a South Korean tourist who had lost his phone on Pattaya Beach.

The tourist was on his way to the airport when he realised this and asked the Nong Kham constabulary for their help in locating his device.

After examining the signal from the phone it was found on wasteground in the area of a company called SPC.

It was lying next to an old Chinese shrine with the media saying that the spirits were looking after the phone.

The thief was nowhere to be found, however.
