webfact Posted March 24, 2023 Share Posted March 24, 2023 Siriraj and Thammasat University hospitals have decided to return the three million baht donation given to each of them by whistle-blower Chuwit Kamolvisit. Dr. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj University Hospital, said today (Friday) that he had not spoken with Chuwit before he donated the three million baht to the hospital. He said that, even though the donation was intended for public benefit, if it is connected with illegal activities, the hospital cannot accept it.
