webfact
Picture: Thai Rath Thai Rath reported from the tourist district of Khao San Road in Banglamphu, Bangkok, where the biggest Songkran party for four years got underway yesterday. The pandemic scuppered plans for water wars since 2019 but yesterday from noon to 8pm tourists were enjoying themselves. Picture: Thai Rath So much so that the hashtag #ถนนข้าวสาร (thanon khao san, Khao San Road) was trending on Twitter as a 'check-in' location. Following traditional bathing of a Buddhist image, a lion dance and accompanying music the Songkran revelers were having a great time, said the media. The daily party continues on the street today and tomorrow, Saturday. Picture: Thai Rath There are restrictions in place so that the organizers can fulfil their promise of a safe experience. No weapons or alcohol can be brought into the area and nudity has been banned. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-04-14 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Deserted
If you stand on a road, and repeat an action endlessly, the same action, like throwing water at someone, and then do it for hours on end, and then it goes on to all day long -I would say that's a sign of mental illness. Doing anything for hours on end, and then doing it all day long, no matter what it is, suggests something upstairs has gone wrong. 1 2

Deserted
The 80s were great. In the UK we had street parties then but that meant enjoying time with neighbours, not just endless hours of the same repeated action.
