Malaysian motorbike, coming back

Hmm. I suppose you need the bike registered in your name. Thailand doesn't require a carnet but it might be worth while, or you pay a deposit , you need a visa for Thailand for the length of the tour. All the normal stuff.

why? from what I read about carnets they're a ripoff......or maybe that's a different carnet.......a carnet for what exactly?
