Sakeopete
My daft company travel booker has me flying from Aberdeen Scotland on BA then transfering to Thai for the Bangkok trip I usualy go KLM. Can anyone tell me if BA will code share bags with Thai or do I have to pick it up at Heathrow to check it in again? Thanks in Advance Edited July 7, 2007 by Sakeopete
Goldenbead
They will probably do it for you. I have had BA trasfer bags to Thai in BKK when I flew in from Heathrow.
eddie eagle
Based on my own past experience can't trust the baggage system at Heathrow. Unless there is more than a 2 hour stopover your bags probably won't make the connecting flight, even then odds are about 30% for you bags not making it. Things may have changed in the last couple of years ... I stopped flying through Heathrow because as the OP said its better to fly from UK regional airports via Amsterdam. technocracy
As far as I am aware you have to collect you bag regardless of who your transferring between well this is what my parents were told the other month when they came visit.
