Hello :o

Does anyone else have this strange internet problem today? Since early afternoon, the connection in my office (4M/512K TRUE ADSL) keeps going on, off, on, off etc. Sometimes the "outages" are mere seconds (just enough to drop VoIP calls for the joy of our customers) and at times there is up to 10 minutes where no web sites will load, IM's will disconnect etc.

The area here is Lad Prao, but another office across town seems to suffer from the same issue.

I feel that TRUE's service is getting worse by the day now.......

just checked on my server the log, I running Kiwisyslog, but there wasn't any disconnect and even my IP wasn't renewed at rthe whole day.

I using TRUEHISP 2.5 M/512 k at Samut Prakarn.

May it affects TRUEADSL only?! I think you should call the service because TRUEADSL is mainly uised on SME Packages.

Yes my internet dropped off loads today (Bangkrapi), I rang up true and amazing, there was no problem, so they said! It kept dropping my VOIP and I need that as I work for a UK company calling UK clients, no VOIP no money! I am using hi speed internet but they did give me a SME package to try, that was better but still very slow today.

I have a question, would I be better off with an SME package? As sometimes, esp Friday eve there is an echo? Would SME help with this?

If you can help it would be appreciated!

I've got a TrueADSL connection, and had no issues with disconnects yesterday. (Just the usual 24 hour one)

In fact, if anything, it's been a lot better this week for disconnects from the Office VPN than normal. But I'm out in Klong Samwa (near Safari World).

Actually - just noticed today that my 24 hour disconnect was actually the office VPN software throwing me off as it's configured to throw you off after that long, NOT the internet connection being dropped. Maybe True have stopped doing the 24 hour disconnect?

Welcome to Thailand. All I can say is get used to it. Its going to happen an awful lot of the time. Nothing you can do will alter the fact. You can spend hours on the phone or in the phone company office and it aint going to do anything. When its offline go and do something else till it comes back. :o

Frequent problems like yours Thanh, nearly every day. I get dropped often, many times each day. Sometimes for only a few minutes. This morning there was no signal for more than one hour.

I am another victim of the "mysteries" of the disconnections of TRUE

Recently for two days in a row from now my internet connection was off from around 9.00 pm or 10.00 pm in the evening until the mornings...

and today I couldn't connect from yesterday 9.30pm until the whole day of today???? I'm sitting in my university library while I write this line...

Can that be that bad weather also has influence on the stability of the Internet connection???? I mean I have this feeling that this is the case. It usually happened in heavy rain...
