mrtoad
There are so may good movies around, here are a few of my favourites; - Ice Cold in Alex. Great film, and a great ending with the beer scene. - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Reminds me of the first Psych hospital that I worked in. Brilliant acting from the cast. - The Shining. A real scary film. - Killing Fields. Can't help but feel moved by this story. - Hotel Rwanda. Another great film of the misery that humans heap upon other humans. - Man on Fire. A great kick ass film. - Good Morning Vietnam. Robin Williams at his most funny. - Life of Brian. This was banned in Cinemas in Cornwall for being blasphemous!! Even though it isn't at all. Apologies to some of the other movies that I have left out.

calibanjr.
Impossible to have a favorite, too many good ones out there (and WAY too many bad ones). Not being overly accomodating/collegial or anything, but pretty much everything listed above would make my top list (except Adam Sandler movies, sorry). Just like to add Groundhog Day, and The Princess Bride (not for the plot so much, it's just eminently quotable).

Ulysses G.
Number one, without a doubt, would have to be Apocalypse Now. However, the Sound of Music and the Wizard of Oz certainly deserve honorable mention.
