mikebell
I have lots of Mobi files for Kindle Ebooks. How do I share with family friends. They won't attach to emails. Dropbox (free version) doesn't work. I don't want to pay - I am trying to do a favour. I am a bit computer illiterate (at 80) so please write slowly. Free books for the most efficacious method. recom273
https://mega.io However, if you do a bit of sharing then it might be an idea to set up your own ebook server on a small low powered computer like a raspberry pi. I guess you know calibre, there is another app called calibre-web which is a web GUI for your calibre library, both my parents have access, they send me requests and I grab them, put them in my calibre library, then they download them straight to their kindles at their leisure. ballpoint
If they all have gmail accounts then you can create a folder in your free Google Drive allocation (15 Gb) and share it with them. Just enter their gmail addresses to do so.

Why does dropbox not work? Because I am stupid! I just persevered on your say-so & uploaded a book to a public folder. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7mgs85penic9k7x/Crais%2C Robert - Joe Pike 01 - The Watchman.mobi?dl=0 Please accept this for your help.
