AFAIK usually the work permit allows you to work in one office only.

I know someone who claims having a work permit valid for all over Thailand but he does not really want to reveal how he got it and what to consider upon application.

Any advise from the fellow members?

doubt it.

As far as I know, more flexible work permit arangements have been agreed to between the Australians and Thais for those who apply for WP's under the auspices of the Thai-Australian FTA especially to conduct meetings outside the office etc. But thats all I know/understand.

A lawyer guy I know told me that IBM here for instance used to issue temp work permits for all their expat staff when they came to the country, and again when they went offsite to do work at a client site.

He said the process for these temp work permits wasn't onerous as the regular ones, as I understand it, they were just a letter.

Best to talk to sunbelt about this.

All them best.

He does not have one as it does not exist. He needs to get a work permit for each province and an office must be located there.

Each province would issue a separate work permit.
