Im Malaysian, I just got married with a Thai wife. I plan to get the Non-Immigrant Visa - O in Kuala Lumpur. This morning I called to Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, they said did not issue any multiple entry Non-Immigrant Visa - O in Kuala Lumpur. They will just issue the single entry, then need to get extention from department of immigration in Thailand.

I read the forum, and the forum saying that somebody can get multiple entry in Kuala Lumpur without proof the finacial status. Is that true?

My current situation -

I have marriage cert but I do not have the proof of 400k bath or 40k bath montly income statement.

Where can I get the multiple entry Non-Immigrant Visa - O in Malaysia?

You can try Penang but if KL will not issue suspect you will have the same answer from them. The normal issue is a single entry that you then extend at Immigration on the basis of 40k family income. If you can not do that you try for a multi entry non immigrant visa again. KL has issued to some and not to others. Penang seems to issue them again but will require bank account information (and we do not have a report on what will be required).

What is the option that I can stay there for long term?

Can I apply TV? so every 90 days come back to malaysia to apply a new TV and enter to Thailand again.

If I can show them RM40k in my Malaysia bank acc, do you think is ok?

because I do not have any bank account in Thailand. The RM40k just to show them one time right? After that I can witdraw right? Not a problem?

To extend your stay in Thailand requires proof of 40,000 baht per month family income - either your wife, you or combined. This money has to be in Thailand at some point from most accounts. In the case of Thai earning it must be proven by tax payment documents.

40kRM will not help you to obtain extensions of stay but should be enough to allow you to obtain multi entry non immigrant O visas - with that you will have to exit/enter every 90 days and obtain a new one every 15 months. The money would only have to be in account when you apply for the visa.

If my wife just started the to pay tax in this month (July 2007), income is more than 40,000 bath per month, Can I just show the immigration officer one month statement in order for me to obtain the non imm - o visa extension?
