I'm an Australian citizen who is about to come to Thailand to do a TEFL course. The school where I'm doing a course has sent me all the require paperwork to get an ED visa. The Thai Consulate here in Sydney has issued me with a single entry Non Immigrant B visa. I'm just wondering if I am able to arrive on a one way flight without any problems. At the time I applied for the visa I also handed in a copy of my itenerary which clearly showed that I had only booked a one way ticket and this didn't seem to be a problem for the consulate.

Also I take it since they issued me with a Non Immigrant B visa I will be able to start looking for work without having to do a visa run. From what I have seen on various sites that is the visa to have when looking for work.

You can always look for work but you can not actually work until you receive a work permit. With the visa you have a work permit can be issued if you find employment that will support issue of a work permit.
