Non 'o' Visa Question

Good morning, I hope someone here can help me regarding Non 'O' visa.

I understand that to be able to apply for 1 year visa with multi trip permit, I need to have income of 40K per month. My question now is, I am not working but my wife owns a company with registered capital of 2 million bahts. She also own one land property. We have two children staying with us. So my question is, can she use all the company documents plus bank account to show to the embassy that she can support me?

Currently, I am on 3 months Non 'O' visa single trip from Thai embassy in Singapore which is expiring soon.

Any brothers here can give me good suggestion on how to apply for 1 yr visa with multi trip?

1. A one year multi entry non immigrant O visa from a Consulate does not require income so believe you are talking about extending your stay at Immigration for one year at a time.

2. The requirement is 40k family income so yes the wife can be the source of funds. Requirements are tax records of at least three months.

3. Multiple trip is another subject. When you are on an extension of stay you can not leave without purchase of a re-entry permit - either single at 1,000 baht or multi at 3,800 baht. These will last until the current permitted to stay until date in your passport.

4. If you are really asking about multi entry non immigrant O visas Singapore requires a bank account in your name of more than 400k baht (but can be anywhere). Penang probably requires the same but no recent report. KL might issue without but would probably be more likely to only issue a single entry.

Thanks for the reply.

Just one more question, can I use my wife bank account plus all the documents that show she owns her company to apply visa in Singapore? As I don't have 400k in my bank account. Even if I were to deposit 400k prior to apply for the visa, the statement will show that I have just deposited the money just for the purpose of applying for the visa.

You would have to ask Singapore but believe they want it in your name as the visa is in your name. The money proof shows that you can support yourself for the time of the visa.
