One dead, reporters caught in bombing

A bomb disposal officer wounded in a costly explosion in Yala on Tuesday morning has died at a hospital from injuries.

Sen Sgt Maj Subin Prutmongkol, whose legs and arms were ripped off from the blast, died after an operation to try to save his life.

The deadly bomb was hidden inside the same motorcycle and it was triggered by remote control, probably a cell phone.
