Keerati Somkid, also known as Ajarn Aek, clarified that he did not challenge Chonnan Srikaew, the Minister of Public Health, but invited him to validate the existence and benefits of his self-invented psychic power healing method.

He expressed his intentions to register this method yesterday, as he believes it should be supported and recognised officially, despite having no formal certification yet.

Keerati explained that he had already arranged for his team and lawyer to prepare the necessary documents for registration, aiming to keep this method within Thailand and attract international visitors.

He shared that he had previously treated patients who were beyond medical help, charging only a teacher’s fee. Keerati emphasised that he didn’t insist patients exclusively seek his psychic power healing treatment, but suggested they consult him if conventional medicine failed to cure them.

...does this mean that teachers are poorly paid?

Always had a positive feeling about this way of curing.

Saw on TV an experiment once at a Belgium University visited by a lot of sceptics, but those Filipino's did the trick and removed an tumor from a ladies arm.

Pity, I can't find that TV program anymore.

Not knocking anyone's ideas, it just makes me think of this.

in other words he is a scammer taking advantage of those on deaths door

if he is so convinced then charge on a performance basis, no win no fee, or go back to driving a taxi and stop trying to scam people who are vulnerable

Believe me, all the psychic power in the world doesn't work when you have a bad toothache.

Nah, no need to search too much. They tend to delete deep fakes from the net rather quick.

555...Dump what's left of your wealth here!

Incredible, people still believe in these things.

Placebo effect can be very strong ...

It's great that faith-healing, soothsaying, fortune-telling, etc are legitimate career options here.

It should make Thailand a superpower, imo.

many possibilities, placebo effect, stem cell repair under subconscious or hypnotic control. Strangely, faith healing also seems to work on animals.

Didn't Steve Jobs die because he used herbal nonsense to cure his cancer?

A lot of believers in Thailand... those who can't afford real treatment but will borrow from family to visit him

My first Thai gf's family bankrupted themselves in this manner.

Her father developed rheumatoid arthritis and could no longer work.  Doctors couldn't do anything back then, so the family turned to all manner of quacks performing their quackery until their resources were exhausted.  Then papa died and there were years of considerable hardship.

What assertion are you trying to make with these statements? Is the fact that some celebrity believed in it somehow supposed to validate the work of theae cretins? A celebrity who apparently, by your own admission, was not even cured when he attempted to put his beliefs into practice???
