The cheapest thing. you're going to find that is in any way even remotely accurate is a Purple Pro which retails for around 100,000 baht in Thailand (closer to $2K in the US and other markets).

They don't sell these machines on Lazada so you'll need to contact a rep on Facebook or LINE and inquire about purchasing.

The other popular testing rig is the GemmaCert which, IIRC, runs around 200,000 or 250,000 baht.

the proof is in the smoking...it either works or it doesnt...a small joint between 3 people that gets you off your face is good weed and the benchmark to strive for...rule of thumb is way better than megga $ on machines.

at a rough guess there are any number of contributors to this section that will tell you after a couple of tokes if you've grown a good batch or not...just place an add in this thread when you reach that stage...please🥳

In theory I agree with @wombat, and this isn't meant to be a cheeky answer, but there probably isn't much utility in spending lots of time and money measuring the THC content if you are only trying to determine if the stuff you are growing is good quality with a high level of THC.

I would say that if you inhale two full puffs of the cannabis, and feel the effects of it pretty strongly for the first 2-3 hours, and still feel some effect from it after 4 hours, then it's presumably pretty high grade stuff and one could assume the THC content is in the 22%-25% range (give or take).

We utilize the Purpl Pro for preliminary spot checks, ensuring everything is in alignment (comparable in effectiveness to the GemmaCert for this task). For official testing, we opt for laboratory services due to their higher accuracy and ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation.

The most precise testing tools are UHPLC/HPLC devices.

The most affordable option is the LightLab 3, priced at 600,000 THB. However, investing in a full-size UHPLC machine might be more economical in the long run, considering its durability and potential for greater accuracy. The LightLab 3's compact size is particularly advantageous in mobile law enforcement scenarios, where its results are often admissible in court.

Are there testing facilities here where you can send your bud for analysis?

I think some have mentioned these somewhere in this sub-forum.

cannabis testing facility bangkok gets a few interesting hits.

Yes there are, and HPLC lab testing prices can range from 3,000 THB to 18,000 THB depending on how many cannabinoids you need tested.

Or you can maybe find a farm or owner of a Purpl Pro, or GemmaCert which would prolly do the test for only 500-1000b.

For personal use this has been the go to standard since the beginning ;).

Unfortunately we cant properly advertise strains based on the "smoke-test" alone, and actual testing is required.

You would be surprised.

We have quite a few customers who own testing devices, or have access to one.

Quite a few shops have these devices, and many farms do as well.

We have even seen some advertising testing services.

But keep in mind they can be off 2-3% (+/-), but thats enough to know if things are totally wrong, or something went sideways.
