A Bang Phli Noi Police Station officer, Yuttakorn Kao Kaeo, was heading to work on his motorcycle today when he spotted two teenagers signalling for help. The officer discovered a man, 38 year old Anek, attacking a 23 year old woman called A, in a nearby forest.

Initially, the officer suspected a domestic dispute, but A, who was in a state of shock and sobbing continuously, clarified that she had no acquaintance with Anek.

Yuttakorn quickly called for backup from the Bang Pakong Police Station. Officer Pongphop Kud Hom arrived with a police patrol team to apprehend Anek before proceeding with the case.

According to A’s account, she had argued with her boyfriend and was walking home when Anek, seemingly intoxicated, approached her, asking about the minivan queue. A replied that she didn’t know and told him to mind his own business before continuing her walk.

Anek, however, followed her the entire way. When they reached a deserted, curved area, Anek attacked her, choking her and attempting to silence her. He dragged her into the grassy forest beside the road and tried to sexually assault her.

A struggled and managed to escape, crying out for help. This attracted the attention of the passing teenagers on a motorcycle who stopped and sounded their horn to call for assistance. It was then that Officer Yuttakorn arrived to help.

The man could have also been armed.

So if it had been a domestic dispute? just ignored it?

What an idiotic comment. The attacker could easily have been armed. Why shouldn't he have called for backup? Wouldn't that be standard procedure?

Or maybe you are just a hero that wouldn't need any safety, yeah, one of AN's heroic warriors.

Actually I'm one of natures devote cowards but if I heard sounds of someone being attacked and I was armed and it was my duty even I would intervene before waiting for backup, the 10 minutes of waiting could make the difference between life and death, obviously backup would be needed afterwards.
