  yesterday everything was fine, today I can not turn the switch anymore, it is locked (position 6 o´clock). Battey from the remote key I replaced a few months ago, anyway replaced it again today, lights are blinking, so the remote should be fine.

 

First idea is that the battery from the motorcycle is dead, although I replaced it not even a year ago. I have mixed results after I did some research. Most suggest a new battery, but i read also even if the battery is almost dead i should be able to switch the ignition switch. Any honda owners here who had a similar problem?

Have you tried your spare remote key? 

 

Or use the gizmo to unlock the seat and check the battery voltage with a multimeter. 

 

i bought second hand, bike came only with one remote key, and also no emergency key ..i found a video on YT how to open seat without key, seems a bit tricky, but will give it a try, so i can check the battery..thx
