Anyone knows what's the cheapest way to get there by air? 12 hours in bus or train sounds creepy :o

Bangkok Airways. Cheapest is 4000 bht return plus taxes.

You can also fly Air Asia to Surat Thani for about B3000 return (depending on flight/day/time) and do the rest by land/boat.

Cheapest flight to Samui is the 6am or 10pm flight with Bangkok Air. Book online only, 2500 baht including tax.

The train is ok if you do the overnight sleeper.

Thank you all for your inputs. Both Air Asia and 1 2 Go are very good ideeas. Does anyone have any ideea about how the planes are with 1 2 Go?
