Thai football coach and his assistant arrested for raping boys

The Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division (ATPD) arrested a Thai football coach and his assistant for raping young boys. Their crimes were allegedly proven by several child pornographic pictures and videos in their possession.

Two Thai women contacted the Pavena Foundation for Children and Women after learning of the sexual assaults against their 10 year old sons from a teacher at a school in the Isaan province of Udon Thani. The women revealed that the rapists were a 43 year old youth football coach named Somchai and his 64 year old assistant Somyot.

 

The mother explained that Somyot and Somchai set up the youth football team and asked permission to use a football field at the school. With an interest in the sport, the two boys applied to join the team. Some of the boys were asked to stay at the coach’s house to facilitate training, and the two boys were part of the group.

The coach and assistant sometimes took the team to competitions in other provinces and stayed together in hotels or resorts.

The mother of the boy identified as A stated that she only found out about the rape on November 6 when her son decided to quit the team. He returned the training equipment to the teacher, making the teacher suspicious of the motive for his resignation, as A loved football. Not long after, another boy, B, also quit the team.

 

The teacher continued to interrogate the two until they revealed that they had been repeatedly raped by Somchai and Somyot both at the coach’s house and at various lodgings during competitions. The teacher then contacted their mothers and told them the whole story.

Disgusting. I assume this had been going on for a long time, years? but no one complained.

People like this should be either jailed forever, without possibility of parole, or immediately shot on the spot. I prefer shot on the spot, as that involves less costs for society. They are disgusting filth that take advantage of children´s trust and interest for something. Probably scaring them with that they can´t be in the team for next competition.

Somyot and Somchai , probably set up the football team ,with the intention

of raping boys , it gives them easy access to the boys , Peodphiles do that,

anyone having contact with young boys and girls ,through sports or whatever,

need to be vetted first .it's taken much more serious in the West ,here too much

trust put in people.

It's hard to understand that the parents would not have clues that their 10 year old son is being repeatedly anally raped by an adult male.

My daughter's mom thought I was crazy when I fought to stop my then 11 year old from running around BKK after school with her basketball team. The so-called coach kept extending the pick up time until they were out on the court at 8 p.m. The other parents didn't seem to care, but I did. This was my fear at the time.

Poor boys will be scarred mentally and emotionally for the rest of their lives.
 

Sadly and unfortunately this will be the beginning of a vicious cycle for some of the other boys who don’t know better and will perpetuate the sinister act of raping other boys later on in life.

As a father I would shoot them dead & deal with people's justice later becos its most likely you would be forgiven......
