Mecure Pattaya

Featured Replies

Has anyone stayed at the Mercure Pattaya lately?

I have been checking the sites and it recieves good reviews however many of them mention a construction site next door ( A new shopping plaza I think).

Anyways has anyone stayed there and was the noise bad around the pool area? I enjoy my time just relaxing a reading a good book by the pool.

I stayed in January on the side "away" from the construction of that shopping mall. I never heard a thing either from the room or around the pool (which is shielded from the noise). The visible wing as you arrive at Mercure is the one to avoid if possible, the workers seem to keep on going well past dark.

Anyway, it's a nice hotel, the price available at the usual websites is value @ around 1500 baht, there is a songtaw that runs constantly between the hotel and a comfortable (with security officer) waiting area a short stroll from everything.

The rooms are a little small by thai hotel standards, but everything in the room is new and fresh. Nice little balcony with deck chairs and ash tray (smokers are encouraged not to smoke "in" the room).

Don't pay more than 1800 baht for a "deluxe" room (ask for the 7th floor), and you've got a bargain.

Thanks for the info.

Never heard of it.

It's in North Pattaya they claim to have the "bigget pool in Pattaya"

My boss always stays at the Mercure when he is here on business.

The construction is still going on but if you get a pool facing room, you wouldn't know it was there.

Its owned by the Accor group and, apart from the usual service issues, is one of the better hotels in Pattaya.

Accor also own the All Seasons hotel in Pattaya Klang. Same, same but different.

Oh, there always seem to be hoards of Koreans on 1 nights stops at both these hotels for some reason. Couldn't tell you why.
