webfact Posted December 27, 2023 Share Posted December 27, 2023 Lampang—At 8:00 PM, on December 26th, 2023, Ngao police officers received a knife crime report about a volunteer defense officer being stabbed to his death in Ngao, Lampang. The suspect harmed six other people during the escape and caused many vehicles to crash. According to a report by the police, the suspect, who was publicly identified as Mr. Nonpawit Saejang, 39, fled with his motorbike before robbing a green pickup truck one kilometer away from the scene where he first stabbed a volunteer defense officer who was publicly identified as Mr. Phisit Sittitchum, 42. After Nonpawit robbed the green pickup truck, he then attempted to rob another pickup truck at Nong Hiang PTT gas station, according to the police. However, the 61-year-old pickup truck owner locked himself inside the vehicle after being harmed by Nonpawit, reported the police. However, Nonpawit reportedly drove his stolen green pickup truck for 7 kilometers before attempting another car robbery from a 45-year-old female seafood vendor.
